Update regarding Good Samaritan Association, Inc.

Franklin County Circuit Court issued a temporary injunction against Good Samaritan Association, Inc., on June 12. The Kentucky Department of Insurance alleges that the company was transacting insurance business in Kentucky without proper authorization.

As part of the court order, Judge Roger Crittenden denied DOI's motion for a temporary injunction against Medical Benefits Administrators of Maryland, Inc., and Ronald J. Wilson. The restraining order against MBA of Maryland and Wilson also was dissolved.
